Field Day

The kids had a great time, and I am proud to say we are the tug-of-war champs! Thanks to all the parents who were able to come and support the class!

IXL

Students who are working on IXL at home should be practicing multiplication.                                                                                                                                                                        

Spelling City

Check out the spellingcity.com link. I hope to be posting spelling words here each week. Your child can go to the website, find our spelling list, and practice the words through LOTS of different activities and games. I should have lists loaded by Monday evening of each week. Students will be able to practice any list of words, so they can study for the week or review words they missed on the dictation test the previous week. I am excited about this new opportunity for our class!

Tardies and Early Check-outs

Please help your child be on time to class. Our morning work time starts promptly at 7:45. Attendence will be submitted online at that time. Uncompleted morning work will need to be made up at recess. Also, be aware that Writing, which is done as a group process is taught at the end of the day. In addition, red folders, homework, and important memos are usually handed out shortly before dismissal. Early check-outs may result in your child making it home without important materials.

Money

Please make sure that money for t-shirts,special programs, book orders, and lunch money is  placed in a sealed envelope labeled with the purpose and your child's name. Loose money can easily get lost or mixed up on my desk. Please be sure to check memos requesting money for the correct amount. I cannot give change or fill in blank checks.
